Where Art Meets Precision

Englehart Cosmetics, Ink is built on the belief that cosmetic tattooing should enhance—not change—who you are.

Every client receives a personalized experience, from consultation to final results. Because no two faces—and no two skin types—are the same, each procedure is approached with care, precision, and attention to detail.

Cosmetic tattooing is both an art and a process. Healing, skin type, and aftercare all play a role in your final result—and we guide you through every step.

I can still remember the little makeup set my mom gave me when I was about six years old. The eyeshadows, blush and lip-glosses were adorably packaged within what looked like a giant lollipop. Not only did I do my own makeup – but every friend, adult, or Cabbage Patch doll who would let me, were all treated to a makeover. I’m pretty sure I used that thing up!

As I became older, my love and fascination for the transformative powers of makeup only grew. Having felt like a bit of an ugly duckling as a kid, makeup and my ability to enhance my appearance with it gave me confidence. I practiced and developed my own techniques, read every magazine tip, even purchased books on makeup artistry to hone my skills. As a teenager, I began to get requests to do makeup for events like proms or even weddings.

This continued into my twenties as something I did for fun, while I simultaneously began my 25 year career in the dental field. Though dentistry is what paid for our mortgage and raising our three beautiful daughters, I never quit being the “makeup girl” who dreamed of makeup artistry being my full-time job.

In 2020 I learned of a local tattoo school and enrolled right away. Having had my own eyebrows tattooed for the first time in 2017, I had been interested in being a permanent makeup artist ever since. I knew that if I could learn the skill of tattoo, I could combine it with my makeup expertise to give clients beautiful outcomes. In school I learned body art tattoo, and from there went on to take many continuing education courses to learn other techniques such powder brows, lip blushing, eyeliner, freckles and scalp micropigmentation. I have also taken multiple courses in areola restoration (3D areola tattoo for cancer survivors) – something close to my heart as I lost my mother to breast cancer in 2009.

When I hear from a client that their cosmetic tattoo has given them confidence, it’s the best part of what I do. It may be newfound, or a return of confidence they thought they had lost. Whether it be eyebrows that lift the face and give a more youthful appearance, scalp micropigmentation that makes a man feel like he has a piece of his hairline back, or areola restoration that helps a woman who has been through a tremendously difficult journey feel “normal again” – it is all very rewarding to be a part of. I hope you’ll trust me to help you with whatever permanent makeup and tattoo procedure will make you feel like the best version of yourself!
